Terms of Use
These terms explain how you may use Conjureit (this website and the interactive courses on it). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Who we are
“Conjureit”, “we” and “us” mean the people who run this website.
To confirm before launch: the name of the person or organisation that operates Conjureit, and a contact address for questions about these terms.
Using the courses
You’re welcome to use Conjureit for your own personal learning: open the courses, work through the scenes, and come back to them as often as you like. Free courses need no account and no payment.
Teachers and trainers may point learners to the site by linking to it. Any other use in a commercial or institutional setting needs our permission first.
What you may not do
Unless the law allows it, or a licence that applies to a specific item allows it (see Copyright & Intellectual Property), you may not:
- copy, download in bulk, mirror or redistribute the courses, their scenes, text, pictures or code;
- resell, sublicense or republish them, in whole or in part, on another website, app, course or product;
- use them for commercial purposes, including in paid training, without our written permission;
- frame or embed the site in a way that presents it as someone else’s;
- remove or change credits, licence notices or copyright notices;
- interfere with the site, overload it, or access it with automated tools in a way that disrupts it for others.
Linking to any page of Conjureit is always fine.
About the course content
The courses are made to help you understand ideas. The interactive models and examples are simplified on purpose, and they run on made-up or sample data. They are not real systems and they are not professional, legal, financial, medical or technical advice.
We work to keep the content accurate, but it may contain mistakes or become out of date. Some pictures in the courses were generated by AI; the courses say which ones.
Paid courses
Some courses may be listed as paid. Paid courses can’t be bought on the site yet. If that changes, the terms for buying and accessing them will be published before any sale.
Availability and changes
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may change, add or remove courses and features, and the site may sometimes be unavailable. We don’t promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
Limits on responsibility
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using, or being unable to use, the site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that the law does not allow to be limited.
To confirm before launch: the wording of this section, and which country’s law governs these terms.
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, for example image sources, licences and the creator’s profile on X. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version on this page is the one that applies. If a change is significant, we’ll make it visible on the site.
