Privacy Policy
This page describes what happens to information when you use Conjureit. It describes the site as it is built today; we’ll update it if that changes.
In short
- There are no accounts, sign-up forms or payments, so we don’t ask for your name, email address or any other details.
- The site’s code sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- The courses save your progress and settings in your own browser. That data stays on your device and isn’t sent to us.
- Like every website, the server that delivers the pages receives basic technical information from your browser (see “Hosting” below).
What is stored in your browser
The courses use your browser’s local storage (a small store on your device, not a cookie) to remember:
- which scenes you have opened and completed, and the last scene you were on;
- whether your first answer to each prediction question was right;
- your theme (light or dark) and motion settings.
Each course keeps this under its own name: ai-explored-v1 (AI, explored).
The Conjureit library and course pages read this saved progress to show how far you’ve got. Nothing is copied off your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings; the “Reset all progress” button inside a course clears your scene progress and answers.
If your browser blocks storage (for example in some private modes), the courses still work, but your progress isn’t kept.
Hosting
When you visit the site, your browser sends the standard information that every web request contains, such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the page you came from. The company that hosts the site receives this to deliver the pages and protect them against abuse, and may keep it in its own logs under its own privacy policy.
To confirm before launch: the hosting provider (planned: Cloudflare Pages), what it logs and for how long, and whether any optional host features are switched on, such as web analytics. If analytics are enabled, this policy must say so.
Everything is served from the site itself
Pages, fonts, pictures, scripts and courses are all delivered from Conjureit’s own address. The site loads nothing from other companies: no external fonts, embedded videos, social media widgets or content delivery networks.
When you follow a link to another website (for example to an image source or to X), that site’s own privacy policy applies. The site asks browsers to share only our domain name, not the full page address, with the sites you go to.
Children
The site doesn’t knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it doesn’t collect personal information at all.
Your rights and questions
Because we don’t receive your course data and don’t keep accounts, we don’t hold personal information about you that we could show, correct or delete. Your progress is under your control in your browser.
To confirm before launch: who is responsible for this site’s data processing (the operator), a contact address for privacy questions, and whether any specific privacy law requires more detail here.
Changes to this policy
If the site starts collecting or sharing any information (for example through accounts, payments or analytics), this policy will be updated before that happens.
